Jen Goodman

I know how overwhelming it can be to navigate the special education system, and I’d love to help your family.

I have more than 20 years of experience working with children and families. After earning my master’s degree in early childhood special education, I began working with preschool children with special needs in the public school setting. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for evaluation and assessment. As part of the district’s multi-disciplinary Child Find team, I evaluated children ages birth-5 for developmental delays. I continued my pursuit of learning and received my certification in behavior analysis to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). I worked with a team of behavior analysts in the district to provide consultative behavior support services and trainings to teachers and staff from preschool through high school.

At home, I love being a wife and a mom to our young son. We love traveling, the mountains, and hanging out at home and exploring our neighborhood. Becoming a parent has been my biggest challenge, an ongoing journey to healing to become a better me. Parenthood has taught me how to allow space for the difficult moments, grace when I fumble, and finding joy in the everyday. My commitment to you during our time together is to allow space for your emotions, to hear your concerns, and respond with empathy, compassion, and a way forward. You’ve got this. I look forward to connecting with you over a cup of coffee (or wine, if needed!).

Hi, I’m Jen.
